Dr Kazim Raza -Plant Safety Engineer

Kazim has extensive expertise in advising executive and senior management on complex health and safety matters, enforcing WHS/Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation, conducting plant and machinery audits, reviewing high-risk plant designs, leading workplace incident investigations, and managing complex projects. His professional experience also includes team leadership, project planning and delivery, technology evaluation and assessment, research and development, product testing, technical report writing, specialist technical support, training and capability development, troubleshooting, problem solving, evidence-based decision-making, and risk assessment. Kazim spent 12 years as a Senior Inspector/Engineer with WorkSafe Western Australia, where he gained extensive regulatory experience in compliance, enforcement, incident investigation, and the assessment of high-risk plant and workplace safety systems. This background provides him with a practical understanding of both regulatory expectations and industry best practice, enabling him to assist organisations in improving compliance, managing risk, and creating safer workplaces.
